Job summary

Orion Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to contribute to satellite programs. You will assemble satellites and high-precision components from technical drawings and instructions, ensuring tight tolerances and documentation.

You will inspect and test finished parts, identify deviations, and report findings. A technical education in aerospace or related fields is preferred, and experience in aerospace environments is a plus.

In this role, you are responsible for the assembly of satellites and high-precision components. You work from technical drawings and instructions to perform fine mechanical assembly. You inspect and test assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications and identify and report any deviations.

Your profile

• Technical education, preferably in aerospace, aviation, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
• Experience within aerospace or aircraft environments is a plus
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
