Job summary

Invisix is seeking an Application Team Lead in Eindhoven to act as the technical face of the company for demo and application engagements. You will plan, coordinate a small team of Application Engineers, and remain hands-on when needed to deliver customer-focused solutions.

With 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles, you will translate customer needs into concrete plans, guide the team, and travel internationally about once or twice per quarter to customer sites.

• Mentor and support the Application Engineers in their everyday work.
• Contribute hands-on to executing plans and assisting with tasks when needed.
• Present results and insights to customers and report status to management and customers' technical representatives.
• Represent the Application team when roadmap items are prioritized at program and company level.

The Role

We're looking for an Application Team Lead to be the technical face of Invisix towards our customers on demo and application engagements: planning, team coordination, customer reporting and hands-on execution amongst others.

You'll be the main point of contact for our customers' technical teams, turning what they ask for into concrete plans and making sure the Application team delivers on them. You coordinate the team day to day and guide the Application Engineers in their work, while staying hands-on yourself and stepping in on execution when needed. Formal line management of the team sits elsewhere, so your focus is on content, planning and the customer. Internally, you represent the Application team when roadmap priorities are set at program and company level.

Is this you?

• Senior profile with at least 8 years of experience and a real track record in a customer-facing technical role, including leading proof-of-concepts or evaluations and technical review meetings with customers
• Hands-on experience applying early-phase technology to real customer problems, such as proof-of-concepts, pilots, feasibility studies or tool evaluations, enough to support the team operationally
• Experience translating customer and application needs into requirements for software and hardware development
• Understands how engineering teams interact and depend on each other, and can identify what needs prioritizing for the customer
• Comfortable working under pressure and with high customer expectations, and willing to travel internationally to customer sites about once or twice a quarter
• Actively applies AI tooling in daily work (planning, reporting, data analysis, customer material, documentation) to boost efficiency
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: high-tech equipment or scientific instruments, ideally semiconductor manufacturing or metrology, in-depth metrology expertise, coordinating with supporting teams on remote sites.
