Job summary

Hug Engineering seeks a lead engineer to drive engineering activities with a strong project management focus. You will own the design and integration of skid-mounted exhaust aftertreatment systems, including layout, piping, and interface management.

You will develop CAD layouts and produce key technical documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires an engineering degree and at least 3 years in skid-mounted design, with travel to customers and headquarters expected about

Qualifications

Engineering degree (mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 3 years designing skid-mounted systems.
Experience with 3D CAD and BOM management is advantageous.
Knowledge of exhaust aftertreatment/engines is an edge.
Autonomy, reliability, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities with project management focus, defining scope, objectives and budget.
Own design and integration of skid-mounted exhaust aftertreatment systems, including layout and piping.
Develop project-specific CAD layouts for aftertreatment systems.
Produce technical docs: specs, P&ID, electrical schematics, network diagrams.
Ensure compliance with UL, ASME, AWS, DIN, EN, ISO and related standards.
