Job summary

CorpGlobal Consulting seeks an experienced Application Engineer / Administrator to support Europol's ICT Operations and Infrastructure. You will administer, monitor and optimise critical applications in a large enterprise, with primary remote work and occasional onsite presence at Europol HQ in The Hague.

You will manage incidents, changes, releases and problems, document procedures, automate processes, and contribute to operational knowledge.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant IT experience (depending on academic qualifications).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and containerised platforms.
• Experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Linux server environments.
• Strong experience with Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey or similar configuration management tools.
• Shell scripting and/or PowerShell.
• ITIL processes.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer / Administrator to support Europol's ICT Operations and Infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for the administration, support, monitoring, optimisation, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications within a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role is primarily remote under a proximity delivery model, with occasional onsite presence required at Europol Headquarters in The Hague.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support applications in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor application performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Perform incident, change, release, and problem management activities.

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain EU CONFIDENTIAL clearance or provide:

• A recent Certificate of Good Conduct (not older than 3 months).
• Evidence of security clearance application within 4 weeks of contract signature.
• EU Confidential clearance within 15 weeks of assignment start.
• Initial duration: approximately 8 months
• Potential extensions available through July 2029.
• Full-time assignment.
• On-call support rotation required approximately every six weeks.
