Job summary

DEPT®, a Growth Invention company, seeks an Android Developer in the Netherlands. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile apps, collaborating with our international team to translate design specs into features and improve app quality.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Kotlin Multiplatform experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Android frameworks and the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Proficient in English communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality Android features.
• Translate design specs and client requirements into functional app components.
• Continuously improve app performance, usability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure code quality by applying SOLID principles and MVVM patterns.
• Participate in the full mobile development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Own the end product, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain stability.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing.
