Mollie in Amsterdam is hiring an Analytics Engineer to build robust data assets and data pipelines for reconciliation and reporting. You’ll create and maintain dbt models, dashboards, and BI tooling, collaborating with Engineers, Treasury and Merchant Finance to ensure data integrity and daily reconciliation.

You’ll mentor teammates and improve documentation while driving data literacy across the team. You’ll work in a product-driven payments environment, shaping data strategies and delivering

Qualificações

• Strong technical foundation in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data modelling and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain dbt data models from raw data to mart tables for dashboards that monitor key payment metrics.
• Build and maintain BI tooling that makes it easy for end users to visualize and extract the data they need.
• Work closely with engineers to understand how Mollie's money movements work and ensure data correctness.
• Partner with stakeholders across Merchant Finance, Treasury, and Payments to define and track key financial data, and enable daily reconciliation.
• Create compelling data visualisations and narratives that communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences via presentations, reports, and memos.
• Implement data quality validation checks, testing frameworks, and proactive monitoring to ensure high trust in the data used for analysis and decision making.
• Contribute to a culture of technical rigour and data literacy by mentoring team members and keeping documentation well organised and accessible.
