Job summary

StarIC Inc is seeking talented Analog & Mixed Signal Design Engineers to join our Netherlands team. You will work on cutting-edge analog/mixed-signal ICs with a focus on CTLE, DFE, ADC/DAC, oscillators and PLLs, collaborating across layout, digital, and system groups.

Strong scripting and Python/MATLAB skills are valued. Hybrid work arrangements are offered, with a preference for candidates eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with IC design focus.
• 3+ years of design experience including CTLE, DFE, ADC, DAC, oscillators, PLLs.
• Experience with SerDes/high-speed circuit design (>10GS/s) is a strong asset.
• Experience with SOI or FinFET process nodes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with layout, digital, and system teams to optimize IC designs.
• Engage with clients and support design discussions and presentations.
• Lead or contribute to silicon tapeouts and design validation.
• Develop and verify high-speed interface circuits and maintain design documentation.

Qualifications We’re Seeking

• Education: Minimum of a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on IC design.
• Experience: 3+ years of design experience, including knowledge of CTLE, DFE, ADC, DAC, oscillators, PLLs, and more.
• SerDes/High-Speed Expertise: If you’ve tackled a SerDes or high-speed circuit design (>10GS/s), that’s a significant asset.
• Silicon Proven: Multiple silicon designs taped out with measured results? You’re our kind of engineer.
• SOI or FinFet Know-How: Experience in SOI or FinFet process nodes? Even better.
• Coding Skills: Comfortable with scripting, programming, and tools like MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
• Team Player: Excellent communication, presentation skills, and a strong team player.
• Location: Strong preference for those eligible to work within Canada.
