EPAM Systems, Inc. in Amsterdam is seeking a Principal (Director) to lead Data Analytics & AI Consulting. Hybrid work mode with executive advisory to C-suite on data modernisation journeys and production-ready AI adoption.

You will shape UK/European practice offerings, drive pre-sales, and oversee multi-regional delivery while championing Responsible AI and EU Act compliance. You will mentor teams, architect high-level solutions, respond to complex RFPs, and guide client engagements from

Qualifications

• Proven leadership at director/principal level in a top technology consulting firm.
• Experience driving business development and leading pre-sales for large Data & AI projects.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML and generative AI with MLOps/LLMOps lifecycles.
• Cloud-scale data platforms knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP/Databricks) and data engineering best practices.
• Understanding of data governance, data security and EU AI Act regulations.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across regions/time zones.
• Fluent in a European language (Dutch/French/German) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with C-level stakeholders to define enterprise data, analytics and AI strategies.
• Lead development of European practice offerings focusing on Generative AI and LLMOps.
• Identify and qualify new Data & AI consulting opportunities and manage sales pipeline.
• Architect high-level solutions, respond to RFPs/RFIs and draft proposals.
• Lead client pitches for large-scale engagements and price consulting efforts.
• Provide senior oversight to cross-functional delivery teams and ensure quality delivery.
• Champion Responsible AI, ethics, security, and EU Act compliance.
• Mentor consulting teams and stay ahead of trends like agentic workflows.
