Job summary

ewi Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of turnkey data centre projects in Amsterdam. The role requires strong leadership of large site teams and a proven track record in M&E contracting.

You will develop detailed construction plans, manage equipment and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and keep projects on time and within budget for multiple European sites.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering qualification required.
• 8+ years experience in a similar M&E contractor role.
• Proven experience in managing large site teams.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Developing a detailed construction plan, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Coordinating the acquisition of equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Managing contractors and subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance and timely work execution.
• Implementing quality control measures for installed equipment.
• Monitoring project costs and budget adherence, including equipment tracking.
• Overseeing project timelines to avoid delays and maintain schedule.
• Identifying risks and addressing issues affecting the construction project.
• Facilitating clear communication among client, contractors and stakeholders.
