Job summary

Houlihan Lokey in Amsterdam invites students to join a December 2026 3-month internship in Corporate Finance. You will work with investment bankers on a variety of M&A, debt, and equity advisory assignments for clients across industries.

During the internship you will learn on-the-job, assist in client material preparation, perform market analyses, build financial models, and support due diligence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Strong academic record in accounting, economics or finance.
• Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications.
• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated interest in M&A; prior IB internship is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing client materials for M&A, debt or equity advisory.
• Conduct market, industry and company analyses.
• Gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, and supporting due diligence.

Skills

Fluent English and Dutch

Strong academic track record

Valuation theory understanding

Quantitative/financial analysis

Interest in M&A

Previous IB internship desirable

Education
