Job description

As an Aluminium Welder, you are responsible not only for welding but also for fitting, positioning, and assembling aluminium constructions based on technical drawings. Depending on the project, you will work in shipyards, utility buildings, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Welding aluminium constructions using mainly TIG welding
• Fitting, aligning, and assembling aluminium parts prior to welding
• Performing tack welding and finishing welds
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Checking welds and constructions for quality and accuracy
• Working according to safety regulations and quality standards on site

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of experience as an aluminium welder
• Proven experience with TIG welding of aluminium (MIG is an advantage)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Driving licence category B
• Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
• Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team

Employment Conditions

• Gross hourly wage between €15.50 – €19.00, depending on experience
• This results in a net salary between €550 – €650 per week, based on a 40-hour working week
• Possibility to work overtime (extra pay)
• Weekly salary payments
• Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation
