Job summary

Nedal Aluminium BV in Utrecht is seeking an All-round Shift Mechanic to independently perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on our machinery in a 3-shift operation.

You bring proven experience with operating technology, pneumatics and hydraulics, Level 3-4 engineering/MTS E-WTB and PLC Siemens, plus familiarity with machine tools and welding equipment.

Qualifications

• You have proven experience with operating technology, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Level 3-4 engineering/MTS E-WTB and Siemens PLC experience.
• Experience with machine tools and welding equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Locate and resolve malfunctions by replacing or repairing parts.
• Looking up associated drawings and documentation.
• Servicing, modifying and overhauling equipment.
• Performing full or partial overhaul by replacing, reconditioning, creating or adjusting parts.
• Implement improvements based on adaptation plans and proposals.
• Maintain own records in the maintenance management system.

The team: Maintenance

Our Maintenance department employs a team of over 20 colleagues. This team consists of a mix of highly experienced mechanics and specialists, as well as the new generation of BBL’ers (trained mechanics at the start of their careers). We invest a lot of time and resources in optimising our machinery and in training our mechanics. At Nedal, you get the space to develop and grow.

What you'll be doing:

As an All-round Shift Mechanic, you will be responsible for independently carrying out maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on our machinery in a 3-shift operation.

Your profile:

You already have proven experience with and knowledge of operating technology, pneumatics and hydraulics. You have Level 3-4 engineering/MTS E-WTB and experience with PLC Siemens. Experience with machine tools, welding equipment, other qualifications is a plus.
