WONDR Experience & Barbie: The Dream Experience in Amsterdam Noord seeks All-round Horeca Hosts to join a vibrant team and help create unforgettable guest moments across two adjacent venues—Galaxy Cafe and Barbie Cafe.

You’ll work in a dynamic, international setting with a focus on great service, quick thinking, and personal touches. The role is part-time with at least 3 workdays per week, including one weekend day.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of All-round Horeca experience (Cook/Waiter/Waitress/Barista/Bartender/Runner).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• English required; Dutch preferred.
• Organised, reliable and detail oriented.
• High-energy, self-managing and proactive.”

All-round Horeca Host — WONDR Experience & Barbie: The Dream Experience

Location: Amsterdam

Type: Part-time (able to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including 1 weekend day, e.g. Saturday or Sunday) and during school holidays.

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, service-minded and flexible All-round Horeca Hosts to join our fantastic Horeca team and help create unforgettable guest experiences across our WONDR Experience and Barbie: The Dream Experience horeca venues.

Although you’ll be working across two different venues (located next to each other), you’ll be part of one Horeca team and we’re looking for people who enjoy variety, are flexible and are happy to jump between different environments while working together as one team.

Having a Social Hygiene or HACCP Diploma (or the EU equivalent) is not required but is a big plus.

About the Role

As our All-round Horeca Host, you play an integral part of creating a WONDR experience for our guests — whether they are enjoying a drink and a bite at our Galaxy Cafe or stepping into the pretty pink world of Barbie Cafe.

Your mission is to create a warm, inspiring, and unforgettable atmosphere for every guest. If you love making people smile, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know how to deliver great service with a personal touch — we want you on our team.

You’ll be comfortable working in different areas of Horeca, from preparing and serving food, coffees, refreshing drinks to supporting the kitchen, running orders and helping to everything smoothly and clean behind the scenes.

No two days are necessarily the same, and that’s exactly what makes this role fun.

You’ll work alongside a diverse and energetic team, move between different tasks when needed and help make sure every guest feels welcome, looked after and ready to enjoy their experience.

About WONDR Experience & Barbie: The Dream Experience

At WONDR Experience, guests are invited to step into a colourful world filled with interactive installations, unexpected experiences and plenty of opportunities to play, explore and create memories.

At Barbie: The Dream Experience, guests can take an immersive journey through six decades of Barbie, discovering iconic moments and life‑size replicas across 12 interactive zones and 2,000m² of experience.

Two different experiences, one Horeca team — and one shared goal: creating great moments and providing excellent service for our guests.

Who you are:

• You have a minimum of 1 year of All-round Horeca experience as a Cook, Waiter/Waitress, Barista, Bartender, Runner — and you definitely know your way around a kitchen.
• You genuinely enjoy talking to and engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• You are a quick thinker and a team player with excellent verbal communication skills. English is required; Dutch is preferred. Additional languages such as French, Italian or German are a plus.
• You are organised, reliable and structured, with an eye for detail.
• You have a high-energy, self-managing and proactive personality.
• You have a customer-driven mentality, are fast-thinking and have strong problem-solving skills.
• You are kind, have a strong work ethic and are always on time.
