Job summary

Domyn is seeking an exceptional AI Researcher to advance large language models and generative AI. You will conduct groundbreaking research, design new ML techniques for LLMs, and collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate research into real-world applications.

You will publish in top AI venues, mentor junior researchers, and contribute to responsible AI practices, bias mitigation, and transparent model development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field (Master's with exceptional research also considered).
• Strong publication record in top AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, ICLR).
• Deep understanding of ML, DL, transformers, and language models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge NLP and language-model research to advance SOTA in LLMs.
• Design and implement novel ML algorithms for LLMs.
• Analyze large text datasets and report insights.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate research into applications.
• Stay updated with AI research through papers and conferences.

We’re looking for an exceptional AI Researcher to join our innovative team focused on advancing the frontiers of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. As an AI Researcher at Domyn, you will conduct groundbreaking research to develop and enhance our next-generation AI systems, with a particular focus on language models for complex applications. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of creating intelligent solutions that transform how businesses and individuals interact with information and make decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in natural language processing, language models, and generative AI to advance the state-of-the-art in these fields
• Design, develop, and implement novel machine learning algorithms and techniques specifically for LLMs
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets, particularly in text and language domains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate research into practical applications
• Stay current with the latest AI research, particularly in LLMs, by reading academic papers, attending conferences, and engaging with the research community
• Publish research findings in top-tier academic journals and conferences, enhancing Domyn reputation as a leader in AI research
• Develop prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility and potential of new AI approaches
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of our research team
• Contribute to the responsible development of AI by addressing issues of bias, fairness, and transparency in language models

What You Have

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (Master's degree with exceptional research experience will be considered)
• Strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, ICLR)
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles, particularly deep learning and transformer-based architectures
• Expertise in large language models, generative AI, and natural language processing
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong programming skills in Python and related ML/data science libraries
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, including statistics and linear algebra
• Experience with large-scale model training and distributed computing
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and drive projects from conception to completion

What Would Be Nice to Have

Candidates with experience in relevant software development frameworks and strong problem-solving skills are highly desired. Additional expertise in API development and cloud services will be advantageous. Experience with financial data, financial language processing, or AI applications in the financial sector Familiarity with reinforcement learning, particularly RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) Experience with multimodal AI systems combining text, images, or other data types Knowledge of model compression, quantization, and efficient inference techniques Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with model evaluation, benchmark creation, and performance measurement
