Job summary

Vivid Resourcing's client, a fast-growing LegalTech company in the Netherlands, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own end-to-end AI model development, from research to production. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and legal experts to design, deploy, and optimize LLM and Generative AI solutions that solve real customer problems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or data science.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI and NLP techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong data engineering, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to own projects, prioritize, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models with a focus on LLM and Generative AI applications.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI features—from research and prototyping to productionization and performance tuning.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate state-of-the-art LLMs using modern frameworks and cloud-based tooling.
• Build scalable data pipelines and model-serving infrastructure in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

I'm partnered with a fast-growing LegalTech company headquartered in the Netherlands, building AI-driven solutions that modernize how legal professionals work. After recently securing two major commercial deals, they are entering an exciting new growth phase with planned expansion across the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United States.

They are seeking a Senior AI Engineer who is passionate about Large Language Models, Generative AI, and delivering robust, production-ready AI systems. In this role, you will take full ownership of AI model development, experimentation, deployment, and optimization.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and legal domain experts—to design intelligent, scalable solutions that solve real customer problems.

Key Responsibilities
