Job summary

Prosus is seeking an AI Regulatory Product Counsel in Amsterdam to lead regulatory strategy for agentic AI deployments. You’ll partner with the AI team and cross‑functional groups to shape policy, contract terms and governance across Europe.

With 4+ years advising on technology product launches and a Master’s in law or tech, you’ll influence EU AI Act implementation, privacy controls and security by design while collaborating across Legal, Compliance and Policy teams.

The Problem You’ll Solve

To support Prosus goals and ambitions to lead AI innovation and improve everyday life for billions across the globe through cutting-edge technology, we are seeking an AI Regulatory Product Counsel to join the Prosus Group Privacy, Digital & AI Governance team, as part of the Legal function.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with the Prosus AI team and the cross-functional teams to provide strategic advice and support for launches and regulatory matters related to AI deployments, in particular agentic AI. As a trusted advisor to the AI teams, you will collaborate with our digital&regulatory team, the corporate legal team, policy and compliance at the intersection of advanced AI and emerging AI regulations. In doing so, you will use AI tools to augment your and your team’s work.

As part of the Prosus Legal function and the Digital & Regulatory Team, reporting to the Group Head of Privacy, Digital & AI Governance, you will have the opportunity to:

• Engage with and continuously support the Prosus AI Team;
• Provide expert advice on matters related to the implementation of AI tools, agents, infrastructure etc., including contractual terms.
• Support the Digital&Regulatory Team in terms of understanding the latest technological advancements in AI;
• Operationalise the Prosus global Responsible AI Policy and establish viable AI governance mechanisms and engagement models;
• Support Legal Innovation through the deployment of AI in Legal Operations, including through AI agents;
• Engage with the Prosus Cybersecurity team to implement AI security requirements and implement privacy and security by design
• Support the Digital & Regulatory Team in terms of group wide activities to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration amongst Prosus group companies;
• Assist in AI governance projects and capabilities to adhere to the EU AI Act;
• Support the Prosus Group in terms of implementation of the EU AI Act and global AI legislative developments (including outside of Europe);
• Assist in public policy outreach through submissions to consultations, events and publications;

• You have excellent communication skills and a strong command of written and spoken English;
• You have a good understanding of the latest status of AI technology and are comfortable using a range of AI tools;
• You will be a legal partner to the AI teams, with ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You have a proactive mindset, adept at problem solving and ready to challenge the status quo;
• You hold at least one Master’s-level Degree in a relevant field, specifically Law, Technology;
• You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in advising on technology product launches and/or deployments, including experience of working across legal, policy, regulatory, and compliance teams and you have a track record on advising on deployments of AI technology;
• You have subject matter expertise in European regulatory frameworks relating to AI;
• You have a structured mindset and are very organized;
