Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. invites Master students to join the DaVinci Engineering team in Veghel for an internship/graduation project focused on improving engineering productivity with AI. You will design and implement at least five AI use cases with engineers and AI experts, quantify impact, and prepare scaling recommendations.

The project emphasizes interviewing engineers, analyzing workflows, and co-creating AI solutions for widespread adoption across Vanderlande's engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in applying AI to real-world engineering challenges.
• Analytical mindset with research methods, data analysis, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and comfortable interviewing and facilitating workshops with engineers from different disciplines.
• Self-driven, curious, and capable of working independently in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with Generative AI, machine learning, process improvement, automation, or data analytics is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview and observe engineers from different disciplines to understand daily activities and challenges.
• Analyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, quality, or knowledge sharing.
• Organize workshops and co-creation sessions to generate, prioritize, and validate AI use cases together with team members.
• Design, pilot, and evaluate AI solutions in collaboration with Vanderlande AI experts, and provide recommendations for wider adoption across the organization.
