Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Library/Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; OR three years of experience in data analysis or library metadata.
• Foundational knowledge of MARC, Dublin Core, RDA, Unimarc, KBART, BIBFRAME.
• Exposure to scripting languages (Python, SQL, or XSLT) and data transfer protocols (SFTP, APIs, or AWS S3).

• Data Lifecycle Management: ingest, normalize, enrich, and match data per standards like MARC, KBART.
• Quality Assessment: profile incoming data to identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting: investigate and resolve data quality problems; escalate as needed.
• Vendor Communication: coordinate with external data providers on data specs and quality.
• Pipeline Support: use scripts and workflows; suggest improvements.
• Data Visualization: monitor quality trends with dashboards (Power BI).
• AI Integration: use AI-assisted tools for record matching and mapping.
• Knowledge Management: document source profiles and decisions for team sharing.
• Team Support: assist senior analysts and contribute to platform projects.
