Job summary

ADC Consulting in Amsterdam is seeking a GenAI Engineer to design scalable AI solutions, applying GenAI, Python, cloud platforms, and modern MLOps to deliver business value.

Join a collaborative team of consultants, data engineers, and AI specialists to build end-to-end AI pipelines, monitor models, and bridge business strategy with technical execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years applying data science/AI methods to real business problems, ideally in consulting or project work.
• Master's degree in AI, econometrics, mathematics, statistics, physics, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Fluency in English; awareness of Dutch is a plus and cloud experience is advantageous.

Our Technology & Innovation team is growing, and we are looking for a GenAI Engineer who is curious and eager to grow with us. As a GenAI Engineer you will uncover scalable AI solutions that create real business value, while applying state-of-the-art GenAI, Python development, cloud platforms, and modern MLOps for CI/CD and monitoring. You'll be part of a true collective, working alongside consultants, data engineers, and AI specialists to deliver impact-driven solutions.

• Develop and deploy data science solutions using Python, Docker, and leading Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Design end-to-end AI pipelines, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and long-term impact
• Build robust monitoring frameworks to keep models performing at their best, proactively managing drift and retraining needs
• Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, collaborating closely with decision-makers to align AI solutions with their goals
• Participate in client meetings and working sessions, helping to explain technical concepts in a clear way
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest in ML Ops, GenAI, and Cloud technologies

• 2+ years of hands-on experience applying advanced data science and AI methods and implementing technical solutions to solve real business problems, ideally gained in client-facing consulting or project-based work
• A Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as AI, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• A strong grasp of the modern GenAI landscape (LLMs, RAG, embeddings and vector search, tool/function calling, agentic patterns, and protocols like MCP) and the judgment to know when to apply each
• You stay on top of a fast-moving field by experimenting with new tools and models, bringing AI into your own way of working, and eager to share what you learn
• Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in GenAI/LLM application development and AI frameworks (such as LangChain, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex).
• The ability to communicate with anyone in the room, explaining complex analytical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences such as business managers, product owners, and commercial leads
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset: you’re eager to solve problems, innovate, and drive change
• A collaborative spirit: You believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives and supporting each other to raise the bar
• Fluency in English
