Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Technical Marketing Copywriter for a 12‑month fixed term contract in hybrid Toronto. You’ll craft technical and creative content for emails, website posts, video scripts, and internal presentations, guiding projects from drafts to final approvals.

You’ll translate complex policy and product details for global audiences, collaborate with cross‑functional teams across regions, and leverage AI tools to speed up writing while maintaining tone and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of copywriting and content creation across emails, video scripts, announcements, and landing pages.
• Excellent English writing and editing with strong attention to detail.
• CMS experience a plus; e-commerce and marketing background beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• Familiarity with editorial standards and style guides.
• Strong organization and independent work habits with cross‑team collaboration.
• Experience with stakeholders from Legal, Product and Customer Support.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback to improve content.
• Experience across regions/time zones; able to support Europe-based colleagues.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.

Responsibilities
