Job summary

Clifford Chance Amsterdam is seeking a Client & Market Development Intern with a strong interest in AI for a six-month internship. At least 50% of the time will focus on exploring and applying AI within Business Development, working with our international team to identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.

You will gain hands-on experience in Business Development within an international law firm and contribute ideas to translate BD needs into AI-driven solutions, collaborating

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the final phase of a bachelor's degree or pursuing a master's degree.
• Strong interest in AI, technology and process improvement.
• Ability to explore new AI tools and apply technology in practice.
• Interest in Business Development and commercial processes and understanding the work of a Client & Market Development team.
• Analytical mindset and initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Curious, proactive and capable of taking initiative.
• Clear communication to colleagues with varying technical knowledge.
• Structured and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Exploring how AI can be applied to existing Business Development processes and workflows.
• Identifying opportunities to make processes smarter, more efficient or easier through AI.
• Testing and developing practical AI-supported ways of working for the team.
• Supporting the team in translating Business Development needs into technology-driven solutions.
• Sharing AI knowledge, ideas and developments with the wider team.
• Conducting market and competitive research to support strategic initiatives.
• Assisting with pitch documents, client presentations and other Business Development materials.
• Supporting targeted client and market initiatives.
• Collaborating with team members, lawyers and partners.
• Keeping up with relevant developments in AI, technology, the legal sector, and the wider business environment.
