Job summary

Airborne Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Controller (QC) to inspect aerospace composite panels and components, perform FAT, and ensure compliance with customer specifications. You will work within a small QC team and coordinate with engineering, production and procurement to uphold top quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quality control and can interpret technical drawings. English proficiency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: MBO (or equivalent) in a technical field; internal audit training is a plus.
• Experience: at least 2 years in quality control, production or technical development.
• Industry knowledge: aerospace or composites manufacturing is advantageous.
• Technical: ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Quality tools: familiarity with quality control tools (CMM, NDI devices, laser trackers is a plus).
• Attention to detail and precision in every step.
• Communication: fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Problem-solving and adaptability to evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on aerospace composite panels and components.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests to identify defects.
• Carry out FAT to validate product before shipment.
• Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and purchased components.
• Perform calibrations on equipment as part of maintenance.
• Monitor and document temperature and humidity in critical environments.
• Generate inspection reports and maintain traceability records.
• Collaborate with engineers, production and procurement to address quality concerns.
• Participate in internal and external audits for regulatory compliance.
