Job summary

OHB Italy is seeking multiple Electrical AIT Engineers for our work in Milan, Italy, or Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will support the engineering team in implementing electrical and functional integration and test processes within AIT campaigns, and help define plans and procedures.

The role involves autonomous execution of integration activities and electrical tests at satellite and platform levels, EGSE deployment, test preparation, and collaboration with the AIT/AIV manager to ensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in AIT for Space Systems.
• Good knowledge of the system engineering process for space projects.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical integration and functional test procedures at satellite and instrument level.
• EGSE deployment and setup on the test facility.
• Test preparation of hardware configurations, including EGSE SCOE.
• Autonomous execution of integration activities and electrical tests at platform and satellite level (interface, functional, TT&R, AOCS, power, data handling).
• Define tests to be performed in the verification process with the AIT/AIV manager.
• Incorporate electrical test activities into the full AIT process in agreement with the AIT manager.
