Job summary

Groupe SII Netherlands in Haarlem seeks a skilled Certification Engineer to support aircraft modification projects as an EASA approved design organization. You will analyze requirements, define structures, assist electrical design, and lead certification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in engineering: Aviation and Aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
• Previous technical work experience
• Certification experience is essential
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work in an international environment
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace
• Ability to work on diverse and engaging projects
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• A good sense of humor is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret customer requirements.
• Define and review metal and composite aircraft structures and interiors.
• Assist in electrical design aspects of aerospace modification projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, define design principles, and optimize existing systems.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate interfaces.
• Prepare and review technical/certification documents including change classification and compliance demonstration.
• Conduct testing and evaluate test results.
