Job summary

Stcorp is seeking a Junior Scientist Innovator in Advanced Materials to join the Defence Systems team in The Hague. You will develop and test protection concepts for vehicles and advance materials that withstand ballistic and blast threats, mainly within military contexts.

Working in a cross-disciplinary environment, you will perform (numerical) simulations, analyze underlying physics, and contribute to material development and validation with customers from defence sectors and industry.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics/dynamics and composites.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written, B1+).

Responsibilities

• Develop and test protection concepts for vehicles.
• Conduct (numerical) simulations and underlying analyses.
• Document results and support validation with customers.
