Job Description

As an Account Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end, customer-focused supply chain solutions, optimizing logistics, and managing demand and supply plans. Acts as the supply chain lead on cross-functional teams, supports product transitions, and drives continuous improvements in service, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with supply chain and commercial counterparts at customer companies, as well as internal teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational, technical, strategic, and non-standard supply chain issues.
  • Understand customer-specific goals and translate these into logistics strategies that optimize delivery while balancing cost and service quality.
  • Manage logistics aspects in innovation projects involving new product launches, product modifications, or new customer onboarding.
  • Lead improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, sustainability, and service enhancements in collaboration with clients.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on logistics performance at the customer level; review and test logistics agreements regularly for compliance.
  • Coordinate the monthly demand planning process, aligning supply availability with the S&OP cycle to meet demand forecasts over an 18-month horizon at optimal service levels and costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in account management and logistics.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver).
  • Experience in food, infant nutrition, or related industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, innovation projects, and SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills; fluency in Dutch and English.
