Job summary
StandardAero is seeking a Mobile Service Technician in the Netherlands to support mobile service teams on gas turbine powered aircraft. You will troubleshoot, perform engine changes and repairs in the field, and ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Strong communication and hands-on abilities are essential. You will travel extensively, maintain tools, and provide airworthiness judgments and final releases.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent technical training completed.
- A&P license is required or clearly demonstrated prior license.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, airframe interface, ground operation, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair of engines and related accessories, as installed in customer aircraft per manufacturer's instructions.
- Present a professional image to customers and agents, ensuring work aligns with manufacturer's specifications.
- Attach Powerplant components, install engines and propellers, and service related accessories as required.
- Monitor tooling calibrations and equipment used for tasks.
- Conduct inspections they are certified to perform after engine work and prepare powerplants for final release.
- Make airworthiness determinations and provide certification for work including final inspection and release to service.
