Job summary

Bayards Aluminium Solutions in Nieuw‑Lekkerland is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join the production team. You will program and prepare machining operations for 5-axis machines, translate designs into reliable CNC programs, and collaborate with work preparation and production to optimise processes.

The role requires extensive CNC programming experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and a willingness to work shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• MBO or equivalent completed.
• Extensive experience in CNC programming.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with work preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with Catia or CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Program 5-axis CNC milling machines, profile machining centres, and plate processing machines.
• Analyze technical drawings and product specifications.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using machine software and Catia.
• Determine efficient machining strategies and production methods.
• Prepare work for production and monitor schedules.
• Support production teams with technical questions.
• Coordinate with colleagues in production, project management, and estimating.
• Identify and implement improvements in quality, efficiency, and lead times.
• Contribute to a streamlined and successful production flow.
