Job summary

Zeeland is seeking a Junior Analytical Technician for the Terneuzen chemicals lab to support 24/7 operations. You will perform analysis of plant samples, operate analytical equipment, and enter results into LIMS according to procedures.

The role requires an MBO-4 lab qualification or similar, fluency in Dutch and English, and the ability to work a full shift (including night). GMP/pharma experience is a plus, and strong teamwork and precise record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• MBO-4 laboratory degree or similar (bachelors degree preferred).
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience in an industrial laboratory (analytical)
• Able to work in full shift (24/7 roster): morning, afternoon and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service requests are accurately run, and the data returned as per sample plan.
• Analytical equipment operations and troubleshooting as per procedures.
• Provide input of quality data into LIMS, document and communicate results.
• Perform calibration and first line-maintenance of analytical equipment.Document/administratethese maintenance activities. Communicate maintenance work when required.
• Apply Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Analytical Work Process and Operating Discipline/Quality System procedures and practices as well as cGMP/pharma standards.
• Participating in and completing of laboratory training and corporate required trainings.
• Co-operate and communicate with co-workers and clients to maintain workflow and instrumental information, and to share and leverage problem solving and prevention expertise.
• Contribute to value creation by continuous improvement of procedures in the analytical work processes and related tools and performance metrics.
• Promote a well-organized, responsive, efficient workplace and work well both as a team member and independently.
