Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Talent & Performance + Recruiting Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday’s Talent & Performance + Recruiting module, with experience in configuration, implementation, and optimization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support Workday Talent & Performance and Recruiting functionalities to enhance talent acquisition, goal setting, performance reviews, career development, and hiring processes. Additionally, you will also work with technical teams – including data and integration, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support Workday Talent & Performance + Recruiting module implementation, configuration and optimization.
  2. Provide expert guidance on Workday Talent & Performance + Recruiting best practices.
  3. Gather business requirements, lead client workshops, develop and maintain functional documentation and translate requirements into Workday system configurations.
  4. Configure Workday Talent & Performance and Recruiting business processes, including job requisitions, candidate management, interview workflows, goal management, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  5. Configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of business processes.
  7. Work closely with data and integration teams, providing functional inputs, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issues.
  8. Conduct system testing, including preparing test cases, executing tests and resolving defects.
  9. Provide end-user training and develop documentation.
  10. Stay updated with Workday features and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
  11. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading and managing the team to achieve successful outcomes, making key decisions, and providing status updates to the PMO.

Job Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience working with Workday Talent & Performance + Recruiting.
  2. Strong understanding of Workday Core Compensation configurations, workflows, and reporting.
  3. Experience with Workday security, business processes, and integrations.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication, stakeholder and team management skills.
