Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Core Compensation + Benefits Functional Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Core Compensation + Benefits module, with experience in requirements gathering, configuration support, data analysis and system testing. You will work closely with business stakeholders functional consultants, data and integration teams to support Workday Core Compensation and Benefits functionalities that enhance compensation planning, salary adjustments, benefits administration, and employee enrollment. Additionally, you will also work with technical teams including data and integration, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in gathering business requirements for Workday Core Compensation + Benefits processes and document them accurately
  • Support functional consultants in translating business requirements into Workday system configurations and solutions
  • Assist in the configuration of Core Compensation and Benefits business processes, including compensation plans, pay ranges, merit increases, benefit plans, enrollment events, and life event processing
  • You may also be required to configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards
  • Help maintain and update functional documentation to reflect changes in the Workday Core Compensation + Benefits system and business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Workday Core Compensation + Benefits processes with other Workday modules, such as Payroll, Recruiting, and Benefits.
  • Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure smooth and accurate data flow between Workday Core Compensation + Benefits and other modules/systems, providing functional inputs as needed.
  • Support the Functional Consultant in preparing test cases, executing system tests, and documenting results to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Assist with end-user training by supporting the creation of training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing user support.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience working with Workday Core HCM or similar HRIS systems.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional documentation
  • Excellent data analysis and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work with consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data, integration, and business teams, to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM business processes and basic configuration tools is preferred
  • Experience with system testing, including preparing test cases and executing test plans is preferred
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting and security configuration (a plus).
