Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Work closely with the client to understand their business processes, pain points, and goals for the warehouse.
• Define functional requirements for the WMS based on current warehouse operations and desired outcomes.

System Configuration:

• Configure the WMS according to the functional requirements (e.g., setting up workflows, rules, location management, order processing).
• Ensure the system is aligned with the company’s operations, including inventory management, shipping/receiving, picking, packing, etc.

Testing and Validation:

• Design test cases and conduct system tests to ensure that the WMS is working as expected.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues or bugs.

User Training:

• Train warehouse staff and end-users on how to use the WMS, ensuring they understand all the functionalities.
• Create documentation and guides to support users.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide ongoing support to the client post-implementation to resolve issues or address any changes in business requirements.
• Troubleshoot problems with the WMS and work with technical teams to find solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date on the latest WMS trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Recommend and implement process improvements within the warehouse to optimize the system and operations.

Skills Required:

• Warehouse Operations Knowledge: Understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• WMS Software Expertise: Familiarity with popular WMS solutions such as Manhattan, Oracle WMS, or Infor.
• Project Management: Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address system issues quickly.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
