Job summary

HireHub seeks a Nutritionist for a healthcare and wellness-focused centre in Malaysia. You will conduct nutrition assessments, interpret lab data with doctors, and develop personalised programmes tailored to local diets to support healthy ageing and metabolic health.

Responsibilities include delivering talks and workshops, maintaining records, and coordinating with sales staff to accurately present nutrition programmes during client conversations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics or equivalent.
• Dietitian registration under Allied Health Professions Act 2016 where applicable.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work a 6 day rotation including weekends.
• Confident public speaker for potential/interview presentation.

• Conduct nutrition, dietary, lifestyle and body composition assessments.
• Interpret lab data and collaborate with the attending doctor.
• Develop personalised nutrition programmes for meal structure, portions and local diets.
• Support weight management, metabolic health and healthy ageing programmes.
• Deliver nutrition talks, workshops and member education sessions.
• Maintain complete consultation notes and progress records in the clinic system.
• Coordinate with Membership Consultants to represent nutrition programmes during sales conversations.

Through a combination of professional consultation, preventive care, and personalized wellness approaches, Our Client aims to provide a holistic experience that goes beyond conventional healthcare.

Ad Hoc Tasks

• Support corporate wellness engagements and offsite screening events.
• Review supplement and functional food products before they are stocked or recommended.
• Provide input on new programme design and delivery feasibility.
• Train front line staff on basic nutrition messaging so members receive consistent information.
• Assist in preparing recipe, meal plan and educational resource libraries.

Requirements

• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or other recognised relevant qualification. Dietitian applicants must hold registration under the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 where applicable.
• Confident public speaker, able to present to groups and hold a room. Candidates should expect a short presentation as part of the interview.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Comfortable appearing on camera for educational content.
• Practical, non dogmatic approach to dietary guidance.
• Willing to work a 6 day rotation including weekends.

Preferred

• Experience in clinical nutrition, weight management, wellness or preventive healthcare.
• Familiarity with body composition analysis and metabolic assessment tools.
• Existing content or speaking portfolio.
• Mandarin as an additional language.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition, dietary, lifestyle and body composition assessments including diet history and intake analysis.
• Interpret relevant laboratory and body composition data in collaboration with the attending doctor.
• Develop personalised nutrition programmes covering meal structure, portioning, timing and practical substitutions suited to local diets.
• Support weight management, metabolic health, muscle preservation and healthy ageing programmes.
• Conduct follow up reviews, track progress against defined markers and adjust plans based on adherence and results.
• Provide behavioural and habit coaching to address the reasons plans fail, not just the plan content.
• Work with doctors on members with clinical conditions, medication interactions or restricted diets, and elevate anything outside scope.
• Conduct health and nutrition talks, workshops and member education sessions on a regular calendar.
• Contribute to educational videos, social content and member facing materials, keeping claims accurate and within advertising rules.
• Support healthy menu, supplement protocol and nutrition programme development for the centre.
• Maintain complete consultation notes, plans and progress records in the clinic system.
• Coordinate with Membership Consultants so nutrition programmes are represented accurately during the sales conversation.
