Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in welding engineering and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 3834 and EN 1090 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate and assemble welding components and products
• Analyse blueprints and other technical issues related to welding quality
• Select the appropriate welding techniques and methods for the job
• Conduct tests and inspections on welded components
• Planning and managing welding process.
• Developing welding processes and procedures
• Monitoring welding quality and preparing welding reports
• Selecting, assembling, and setting up welding equipment
• Using heat analysis and metallurgical knowledge to determine the correct welding process for each application
• Troubleshooting welding problems and determining corrective actions
• Performing welding tests and inspections
• Conducting welding research
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on project design and develop efficient method
• Maintain and verify the status of the repaired welding equipment and the efficiency
• Ensure all the welding quality is maintained and meet the standard of ISO3834 and EN 1090.

Requirements

· Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

· Knowledge of safety procedures

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Good interpersonal and communication skill.

· Ability to work as a team.

· Experience in ISO 3834 and EN 1090 will be an advantage.
