Job summary

SUN Media Corporation Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya is hiring a Web Executive (Editorial) for a full-time, on-site role. You will work on a rotating shift schedule (7am, 9am, 11am, 2pm) and manage daily article uploads and social media content.

You should have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Journalism or Mass Communication, be comfortable with CMS and Canva, and coordinate with reporters, sub-editors, and the social media team to ensure accurate, well-captioned stories.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Mass Communication or related field.
• Executive: 1 year of experience in Journalism or related field.
• Senior: 3 years of experience in Journalism or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Assistant Executive post.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Writes and uploads articles daily from staff reporters and news agencies.
• Ensures articles are published with accurate facts, links and captions.
• Creates social media content using Canva and coordinates with the social media team.
• Communicates with reporters, sub-editors and editors to maintain consistency.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (7am, 9am, 11am, 2pm) as required.
