Job summary

Talentbank_1_jobs is seeking a Web Designer Executive for a local media agency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will work with the Web Design team to design client websites that meet campaign objectives and client needs.

The role requires 1–2 years of Wordpress Web Design experience, a Diploma or Degree in Web Design, proficiency in Adobe Suite, CSS and HTML, excellent time management and communication skills, and a portfolio of past works.

Job description

Our client, a local media agency is looking for Web Designer Executive.

Responsibilities:

Working together with our Web Design team to design clients’ websites that will suit the needs of our respective clients

Design and Edit key pages on the website according to campaigns and business objectives

Problem Solving for any Graphic Issues on websites

Work on new design requests and implementing them

To be kept up-to-date on current market trend and continuously improve on producing innovative and attractive web design content

• a) Composition – excellent composition skills to determine where to locate page elements and balance the overall look and flow of the page;
• b) Typography – familiarity with typographical principles and practices, considering font choices and sizes and how they work within the page
• c) Image editing – optimizing images for desktop or mobile browsers
• d) Wordpress Web – able to use CSS, HTML efficiently and effectively to rectify and manipulate how a page looks and behaves.

Taking into consideration of the client’s objectives and strategies to balance both form and function. Strong design and layout principles with attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in Wordpress Web Design related fields

Diploma or Degree in Web Design related fields

Proficient in design software (Adobe Suite, etc.)

Excellent Time Management Skills

Knowledge in UI and UX is advantageous

Meticulous, Self-Motivated and Team Orientated

Excellent communication skills

Portfolio of past works is required for application.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
