Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a junior web designer/developer assistant to support updates and improvements on WordPress websites. You will collaborate with the design and development team, apply basic HTML/CSS, and assist with UI/UX tasks as guidance is provided.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree program in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Computer Science or related field, with an interest in web design and digital content.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Willingness to learn WordPress (Guidance will be provided).
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Interest in web design, multimedia, and digital content.
• Responsible, creative, and able to work independently with guidance.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree program in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support website updates, layout enhancements, plugin setup, and styling changes
• Apply basic HTML and CSS to improve website and functionality
• Assist with UI/UX design tasks when required
• Support documentation efforts by creating and updating technical documents and user guides
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas
