Job summary

Caspian Digital Solutions in Kuala Lumpur is seeking talented Malaysian Web Based Application developers to build enterprise‑grade web applications using .NET technologies. You will work in a team to derive solutions across projects, with exposure to full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities include analysing requirements, developing and maintaining custom software, conducting code reviews, preparing design docs and tests, and delivering projects on hosting environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of .NET development experience.
• Experience with AGILE methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing tools NUnit or XUnit.
• Experience with SQL databases and Entity Framework.
• Proficient in object‑oriented programming.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and develop, maintain and enhance custom developed application software and scripts to meet the requirements.
• Assist and/or represent the company in the technical aspect of your software development.
• Conduct code review and testing.
• Prepare documentation e.g. design specifications, UAT document and participate in reviews.
• Software design and optimization.
• Development of custom software or scripts to meet new functionalities required by the business.
• Deliver projects via installation on company hosting servers or client hosting environments.
• Develop custom built applications using .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio, and SQL databases.

CDS designs, develops and delivers technically complex solutions with system interfaces for clients across education, healthcare, real estate, energy and financial services, in both the government and private sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and develop, maintain and enhance custom developed application software and scripts to meet the requirements. Develop application software or scripts as and when required.
• Assist and/or Represent the Company in the technical aspect of your software development.
• Conduct code review and testing.
• Prepare documentation e.g. Design specifications, User Acceptance Test document and participate in reviews.
• Software design and optimization.
• Development of custom software or scripts to meet the new functionalities required by the business.
• Deliver projects via installation on Company’s Hosting Servers or Client’s Hosting Environment
• Develop custom built applications using .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment, Relational Database Management System.

Requirements:

• Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in development using .NET.
• More experienced candidates will be considered for senior positions.
• Good programming and analytical skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of AGILE Methodologies.
• Working knowledge in Unit Testing Tools preferably using NUnit or XUnit.
• Working knowledge in documenting technical application specifications.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming and Entity Framework.
• Proficient in architecting, developing and maintaining SQL databases.
• Working experience in implementing solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in the following will be advantageous
• Frontend framework/libraries like React.JS, Node.JS, Vue.JS
• Containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• PowerShell and similar scripting tools
• Microsoft SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online.
• Content Management Systems Platforms such as Sitefinity, DirectUs
• Low Code Platforms such as Power Platform, OutSystems
