Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks talents for wealth management sales. The role involves soliciting leads via referrals and cold calls to meet targets, and cross-selling Wealth Management products to build loyalty. You will provide excellent customer service to reflect the bank’s image.

Requirements include Malaysian citizenship, SPM with credits, and tertiary studies in Banking/Finance/Business. Prior banking or sales experience is preferred, fresh graduates welcomed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Solicit leads via referrals and cold calls for sales via marketing visits, telemarketing, launches and any other sales activities to achieve sales targets.
• Actively cross selling Wealth Management Products build rapport and relationship with chosen customers to establish loyalty and repeated sales and increase product holding.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold professionalism to reflect Bank’s image.
• Seek continuous improvement in the following areas to enhance job skills and competencies:
  • Product knowledge
  • Selling skills
  • Market intelligence
  • Competitor’s check
• Comply to statutory requirement and sales compliance in relation to FSA, KYC, AMLA and all relevant internal policies & procedures and sales compliance.
• Participate in strong teamwork and working relationship with colleagues at all times.

• Malaysian Citizen
• Tertiary Education preferably in the field of Banking, Finance or Business Studies
• Candidates must possess a SPM with at least 3 credits (For enrolment in the mandatory licensing), if SPM is the highest education qualification
• Preferred skill(s): PCE (General), PCE (Life), PCE (Unit Linked), CEILLI, FIMM & TBE
• Candidates with experience in Banking, Insurance or Sales related fields are preferred.
