Job summary

Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) is seeking fresh graduates for a retail wealth advisory role in Malaysia. The position focuses on providing personalized financial guidance, promoting insurance and investment products, and cross-selling financing and credit cards to retail clients.

You will build relationships with Privilege and Emerging Affluent clients, manage portfolios, and strive to meet sales targets while adhering to regulatory standards and ongoing training requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of banking, investment and insurance products.
• Knowledge in Financial Planning/Wealth Management or Retail Banking/Branch Operation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service to customers.
• Capable of delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Candidates with full banking licensing will have an edge (PCE/TBE/CEILLI/IPPC/FIMM).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized financial consultation and advice to clients.
• Promote wealth solutions focusing on insurance, investment, products and services to retail clients.
• Increase client product holding through cross-selling on financing and credit cards.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships with Privilege and Emerging Affluent clients and effectively manage customer portfolios in retail wealth sales and advisory.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics contributing to the overall branch performance and sales revenue.
• Comply with all regulatory and Bank standards and practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge.
• Act swiftly on leads and maintain proactive follow-ups to maximize conversion rate.
• Deliver top-tier after-sales service to maintain customer loyalty.
• Engage in sales launches and conduct data mining to identify potential customers and generate new business.
