Job description

Responsible for the sales & services of Bank Rakyat products to the customers primarily for Wealth Management products (i.e Unit Trust & Bancatakaful) in aiming to increase the Bank’s Fee Base Income. To deliver good financial advisory and provide consultations to potential customers and recommend the suitable wealth products that meet the customers’ financial objective. To handle the account opening and customers’ inquiries on all product related matter as well as to act as customers’ point of contact and handle relationship management with the aim to increase the product holding with the Bank.

Others

Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the management from time to time or as and when necessary for the effective realization of the job.

To develop and maintain relevant knowledge, skills and behavior to ensure that sales activities are conducted professionally and proficiently.

To achieve optimum customers’ satisfaction and trustworthy to the Bank.

To maximize deliverables in meeting the financial aspiration of customers.

Shall be honest and open in all their dealings with customers. This includes behaving in an accountable and trustworthy manner and avoiding any acts that might damage the reputation of, or bring discredit to the Bank at any time.

To avoid any matter arises that may jeopardize the reputation of the Bank.

To report on any suspicious activities & unlawful act to the supervisor in a timely manner.

To act responsibly and embrace a culture of fairness and transparency.

To treat those with whom they have professional relationships with respect and ensuring that they consider the impact of their decisions and action on all stakeholders.

To protect the privacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity of information provided to them.

Usage of information is limited to its intended purposes only and not divulging the information to any unauthorized persons, including third parties, without the consent of those involved (unless disclosure is required by law or regulation).

To ensure no breach of the PDPA in protecting the personal data of individuals.

To ensure customer data privacy can be achieved at the highest level.

Individuals shall not allow any conflict of interest, bias or undue influence of others to override their business and professional judgement.

Any activities and matters that could impair the objectivity shall be declared to those concerned

Job Requirement

Minimum Diploma in Banking / Business Finance / Commerce (or equivalent) or meeting certain criteria set by Wealth Management & Retail Banking

Minimum 2 years working experience in sales position in retail banking, progressive financial services and retail sales experience

Possess Takaful / Insurance certification e.g CEILLI, TBE – compulsory

Possess Unit Trust license (CUTE) – compulsory

Possession of professional Qualification e.g. CIFP, IPCC; are an added advantage

Job Technical competencies' Requirement

Robust understanding of wealth management and sales strategies in meeting the target set by management

Ability to work under pressure in meeting deadlines and targets

Strong sales orientation, networking, and portfolio management skills

Strong customer orientation with good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Must be a team player, energetic and result-oriented

Set and maintain high standards of professionalism, work ethics, and team spirit

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Adequate skills in Microsoft Office and computer applications

Strong knowledge in the Wealth Management overview

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and adequate writing communication skills are essential.

Positive attitude and adaptable to changes in working environment.

Great organizational and time-management skills.

Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
