About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wastewater Technician to support the efficient operation of our wastewater management systems within our energy solutions and battery manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental standards, safeguarding equipment performance, and maintaining smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and perform daily maintenance of sludge dewatering systems and chemical dosing units to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain all electromechanical equipment, pipelines, valves, and related systems within the sewage treatment facility.
  • Conduct routine inspections, meter readings, and record operational data to monitor system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on sewage treatment plant equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support in maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with facility and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) teams to ensure best practices in wastewater management.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for wastewater and effluent treatment processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sewage or wastewater treatment operations (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of sludge dewatering, chemical dosing, and wastewater treatment processes.
