Purpose of Role: To lead a team of Warehouse Assistants in carrying out various functions within the Warehouse Department.

Key Responsibilities:

EHS Responsibilities

Supervisors shall demonstrate leadership and set a personal example in health, safety, and environment by fulfilling the responsibilities outlined below:

  • Ensure the implementation of the Company EHS Policy to prevent injury, damage, or loss to personnel and resources. Ensure line management is aware of their accountability for environment, health, and safety.
  • Ensure employees are aware of specific EHS hazards and preventative actions.
  • Stop unsafe acts and unnecessary risks.
  • Provide safety instructions, supervision, and mentoring to new employees, visitors, especially young persons, and report hazardous situations.
  • Ensure equipment is safe to use and report defects immediately.
  • Ensure personnel are competent for their tasks.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks as needed.
  • Assist with incident investigations and site inspections.
  • Report incidents via the company system.
  • Support EHS policies to promote cultural development and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with EHS policies.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise warehouse functions: receipt, storage, issuance, labeling, packing, fumigation, marshalling, and loading.
  • Count, weigh, measure, and inspect external packaging of goods.
  • Ensure document accuracy related to warehouse activities.
  • Transfer materials correctly and timely.
  • Maintain ERP system records and stock movement documentation.
  • Participate in stock counts and cycle counts.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping routines.
  • Raise ICAR or NCR for non-conformities.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and adherence to FIFO.
  • Raise PR when necessary.
  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Conduct weekly HSE and monthly safety inspections.
  • Raise Near Miss Reports and Plant Maintenance Requests.
  • Coordinate with QC and production teams for non-conformance issues.
  • Train and motivate subordinates.
  • Drive behavioral and cultural change within the team.

Job Knowledge, Education, and Qualifications:

  • Education: SPM, Certificates, or Diploma.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in similar roles.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, SAP EWM.
