We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with high level of integrity, good staff and time management skills to join the SMC Automation team and be part of the success of the company.

Job Responsibilities:-

Sets productivity and established necessary control to ensure departmental KPIs are achieved.

Planning, Organizing and Controlling of Warehouse overall operations.

Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.

Review all operational processes and personnel to gain maximum efficiencies within the warehouse operation.

Carry out PDCA in order to achieve KPIs.

Managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.

Ensure that QA procedures and objectives are achieved.

To lead the department in ensuring internal control policies and procedures are adhered to.

To carry out internal control assessment within the department, plan and execute corrective and preventive actions for areas with defects internal controls.

Understand thoroughly receiving, picking, checking, and packing process.

Stock rotation - accurate monitoring of use by dates to achieve first-in-first- out (FIFO).

Plan the daily delivery schedule to branches and local delivery in line with the delivery deadline and requirements.

Learn and Master SAP System. Contribute positively to its continual development.

Any other tasks assigned by the HOD.

Proper maintenance of records & filing system for Shipping Advice/Shipping Details/ STF , overseas suppliers shipping documents , bulk storage rack

Disposition of waste materials – Effective disposal of all waste materials in the warehouse

Product modification – ensure that all modification is carried out according to modification form

5S Housekeeping – Ensure the overall housekeeping of the warehouse

Security – Ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed in the warehouse.

Safety – Ensure that all personnel carried out their job tasks in accordance with correct procedures and in a responsible manner.

Any other activities / events assigned by company (e.g., Annual Stock Take, Product Exhibition, etc.)

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Degree in any related discipline.

At Least 5 years hands-on working experience as warehouse supervisor.

Preferably specializing in freight, shipping, logistic or equivalent.

Hands on experience with warehouse management software and SAP

Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Good in inventory control and analytical skills.

Able to work under tight deadline.

Pleasant personality, good working attitude and a problem solver.

Proficiency in Malay, English and Mandarin languages.
