An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team of warehouse assistants. To supervise and lead warehouse assistants in day-to-day operations activities, including overseeing subordinate staff if any.
To serve as a backup to the assistant supervisor or supervisor of other designated areas during their absence.
To assist in the absence of the warehouse assistant in the designated area.
To ensure discipline and compliance with company regulations within the designated warehouse area.
To report to superiors regarding team members' lateness for necessary actions.
To ensure SOP, HACCP, GMP, and safety procedures are performed and followed in the warehouse.
To ensure warehouse team members follow procedures, rules, and regulations accordingly.
To handle daily forklift maintenance recording if forklifts are used in the division.
To organize the warehouse assistant in maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse work area.
To ensure the safety of warehouse activities and environment, reporting any defects to superiors.
To carry out corrective actions for non-conformities and audit findings.
To check, identify, and ensure correct items and quantities of non-conformities, RMA, DMR are reported to the clerk or superiors for action.
To highlight slow-moving or obsolete inventory to superiors.
To monitor and ensure FIFO and FEFO practices are followed, reporting discrepancies to superiors.
To conduct daily warehouse inventory counts as instructed by superiors and report accordingly.
To participate in monthly warehouse cycle counts and semi-annual PI counts as instructed.
To conduct scheduled maintenance checks on forklifts and buildings, reporting timely to superiors.
To maintain records and update data as required in a timely manner.
To provide training and guidance to warehouse assistants, monitoring their performance and reporting to superiors.
To support ad hoc requests from superiors.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a warehouse supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
SPM holder or relevant qualification.
Experience with forklift operation and ERP systems.
Ability to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia.
Physically fit to work in a warehouse environment.
Willing to work in Taiping, Perak.
