Job description

Lopie Paper (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Sungai Petani Kedah. As a full-time Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  2. Ensuring the proper maintenance and organization of the warehouse, including stock control, inventory management, and space utilization.
  3. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and warehouse productivity.
  4. Implementing and enforcing safety and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  5. Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  6. Providing training and development opportunities for the warehouse team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Generating and analyzing reports to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Warehouse Supervisor or Manager role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry.
  2. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics processes.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
  4. Effective leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  7. Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the warehousing and logistics.
