Job Description
Work Location: Onsite – Johor, Malaysia.
Temporary site: Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah
Permanent Site (We will be moving in Q3 of 2025): Pasir Gudang
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Greenfield Semiconductor manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new and innovative production environment in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in kitting, receiving, and managing inbound activities to ensure seamless production operations. Your role will be crucial in optimizing warehouse processes, driving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitting Operations: Oversee the kitting process to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of materials to the production lines.
- Receiving and Inbound Management: Supervise the receiving and inspection of materials, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure stock levels are optimized to meet production demands.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving warehouse processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely supply of materials
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally in Semiconductor or High-Tech manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of kitting, receiving, and inbound activities in a production environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a warehouse team – must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a Supervisory capacity.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
- Additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are a plus.
