• 2 years experience in Finished Goods Warehousing operation.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in management.
• Familiar with custom rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all warehouse activities to maximize productivity.
• Liaise with the Shipping Department to meet shipment schedules.
• Update ERP systems daily for proper stock records.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with Shipping Department with regards to meet Shipment schedule.
• Coordinate containers shunting movements and organize/ mobilize resources (forklift drivers/ forklifts/ contractors/ etc.) in the most efficient and efficient way to meet plan as per the shipment schedule.
• Ensure that necessary documents i.e. Packing List, Stuffing Checklist and Container Inspection Checklist are properly filled u, compiled and filed subsequent to completion of stuffing of entire shipment.
• Update ERP system daily for finished goods data capture for proper stock records.
• Participate in monthly stock count and tally stock figures between stock count results versus Finished Goods stock card.
• Keep all documents with proper filing for easy retrieval.
• Monitor and control packaging materials stocks so as to ensure continuity of production and no out of stock situation.
• Ensure FIFO principle is observed by all forklift drivers during stock picking for all materials (finished products and packaging material) to instruct forklift drivers on specific stocks for loading/shipment.
• Ensure proper organization of the warehouse with proper identification for speedy tracking of product location; instruct drivers to ensure proper organization as and when necessary to maintain orderliness at all times.
• Perform all other work as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in a related discipline.
• 2 years covering Finished Goods Warehousing operation
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Good knowledge of stock control (FIFO) and work safety.
• Familiar with custom rules and procedure will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
