Job Description:

  • Inventory Management
  • Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming shipments.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of inventory.
  • Perform regular stock counts, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory, reconcile discrepancies monthly to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Shop Order Preparation & Order Fulfillment:
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of shop orders, including but not limited to kitting, rigging, and label printing.
  • Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipment preparation in line with production and delivery schedules.
  • Verify order accuracy and coordinate with logistics for timely and successful dispatch.
  • Oversee the packing of finished goods (FG) and ensure FG is ready for shipment.
  • Warehouse Operations:
  • Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and Kardex systems.
  • Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to comply with safety standards.
  • Implement, adhere to, and regularly review safety and security procedures within the warehouse environment.
  • Assist in warehouse layout planning and optimize space utilization according to material type, size, and handling requirements.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
  • Prepare, generate, and manage reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and inbound/outbound operations.
  • Operate the IFS ERP system to record and manage inventory data, ensuring that all entries are accurate and current.
  • Ensure records are easily accessible for audit and reporting purposes.
  • System Familiarity:
  • Be familiar with and proficient in using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to manage and track production processes.
  • Operate the IFS ERP system effectively for inventory management and other warehouse operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within warehouse operations.
  • Others
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
  • Proven 5 years’ experience in a warehouse operations or inventory management role, preferably in electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written communication.
