About the role

Join SJ Circle Sdn Bhd' as a Warehouse Senior Officer based in Kulim Kedah. This full-time role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse and distribution centre, ensuring efficient and effective management of our inventory and logistics processes.

What you'll be doing

To manage and plan warehouse operations
To provide and implement necessary SOPs for warehouse operations from time to time
To ensure the count accuracy of goods inventory received and issuance is maintained at all times through work discipline, cycle audit and stock take
To monitor stock level, consignment & expired products and keeping stock control systems up to date
Conduct yearly and periodic inventory count to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity in warehouse
To ensure the shipment delivery is on track and according to the planned schedule
Manage and review department's performance based on quality, delivery performance, cost and allocation
Drive process improvement and methods to increase overall warehouse efficiency
Maintain high level of housekeeping safety practices
To lead, supervise and develop a team of competent warehouse staff in executing their job functions
To oversee security and operation of warehouse involving incoming and outgoing goods
To plan and ensure the optimal utilization of warehouse storage space
To ensure all corrective action taken are carried out based on CAR's raised
To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by superior

What we're looking for

Candidate must posses at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Warehouse Management or equivalent or
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior warehousing or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or distribution industry
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices in the warehousing industry

SJ Circle Sdn. Bhd. is a dynamic manufacturer of baby disposable diaper pants located at Kulim Industrial Estate, Kedah.

New Operation start in JAN 2016 with new machineries at a new factory premises.

Our market base is mainly for export to Asia Pacific countries. Our products are innovative and dynamic, we design wider product range for general market as well as premium market. We have applied patents and registered industrial design for some of our products and process.

Our current factory facility is able to cater for 4 fully automated lines at 60,000 sq ft premises. Manufacturing processes are situated in a clean and controlled environment.

Our top management has vast experience and good exposure in diaper industry and hygienic product markets for over 10 years. At present, diaper pant manufacturing is more niche than other hygienic products in Malaysia, and this market can grow exponentially because most of the market regions are still untapped.

Our goals are to grow and expand the business 2-3 folds in the next 5 years.
